To enjoy a tuna fishing adventure is just one of the various perks of becoming a club member.  During mid-September, schools of fish appear around Queenscliff and Barwon heads as part of their migratory route past the waters off Portland. But mind you, experience and expertise are crucial in catching a very crafty and fast fish like tuna. This kind puts up a big fight and requires a team effort to be reeled in!  Besides, tuna tends to swim deeper to channels of water and travels in strong underwater current for safe passage and to hunt for food.

To take our members through this exciting experience, we have assigned our trusted resident skipper, Daniel, to direct them to areas where tuna is commonly spotted. He would be more than willing to share these secret spots to all Pleasure Cruising Club members.

Onboard The Dazzler, fishing adventures with Daniel to catch tuna, which weighs up to 120kg, can truly be a fun escapade. This is limited to five members per excursion and considered as a deep-sea event.  Excursions come about only when tuna schools are close by.

Note that reservation is on a first-come basis. Fuel, points and other costs are to be shared among participants. In addition, special fishing equipment and catering will be provided. And there will be plenty of tuna steaks to go around!
